2 vintage PEGGIE KILGORE CORN HUSK DOLLS, Grandpa Carving & Grandma Spinning

These are wonderful pieces of art made by Peggie Kilgore and her husband Claude.
T
he cornhusk dolls are made by Peggie, and the wooden bases and accessories are made by Claude.
Here is Grandma standing on her braided rug at her spinning wheel.
The base measures 6" x 4 1/2", and the height of the piece including base is 8".
Grandpa is concentrating on whatever he is whittling.  His base is 5 3/4" x 4" with a height of 5 1/2".
Condition of both is excellent.
Both are signed "PK".  Unlike most simple corn husk dolls, Peggie's dolls are lifelike with physically correct bodies and limbs and beautifully painted faces that reflect their personalities.  I  will be listing more Kilgore figures this week.
