Description
Microwave pork rinds are pork skins that have been cooked to remove 70% of the fat in the product. The remaining 30% of the fat is sufficient to allow them to be cooked or puffed in a microwave or in the oven. The resulting microwave pork rind is a healthier (less saturated fat) alternative to the puffed bagged pork rinds. Each serving contains 9g Protein, 0 Carbs, 0 Glycemic and they are Gluten Free. We do not use MSG or preservatives in our pork rinds. One pound of pork rinds has a 12 month shelf life with no refrigeration and when cooked will make approximately 2 gallons. To Cook, place approximately 1/4 cup of pellets on paper plate and place in the microwave and cook on high for about 2 minutes. If they do not puff your microwave oven is not getting hot enough. You can bake on a baking tin in a toaster oven or regular oven for 5 minutes at 450° F. You can also cook in your air fryer, set the temp at 400° F and the timer for 5 minutes.
