Let me tell you a little about myself so you know who you're buying from.....I started buying storage auctions 18 years ago in California when you could buy a unit for 100 dollars and make some money...lol...funny story; First auction I went to, it was me and two older gentlemen (I say older gentlemen, but I'm probably older than they were now, crap) so there were 3 of us...owner of storage facility opened the door and asked for a bid....one of the old men said "10 bucks" ....this was a 10x30 full of stuff!!!! The owner said "once" "twice" and I couldn't believe it all this for 10 bucks? I said "50" !!!!! the two old guys looked at me like I was stupid..I cleaned up on that unit...but that started my career...First two or so years were pretty tough...not really knowing a lot about items I went and bought those huge antique books and went through each one page by page....until I knew a little....like today....lol...So moving forward, when we lived in Newport Beach California I went around with a group you folks now know as the "Storage Wars Cast" there were about 20 of us that would go around Orange County and buy storage units...and yes Hestor is just like that in real life...but I actually dropped (ran up the bid and then stopped bidding and let him have it) a few units on him over the years that I really enjoyed. So if you look closely on the show I'm in a few of the episodes in background..so after about 3 shows that 20 people turned into 500 plus...it was a circus with cameras and a hot dog cart and a bunch of fools overpaying for items..well, a few years later after people figured out its just a job and you don't find a million dollars in every locker it got back to somewhat normal. So anyway we leave California (is no longer our favorite place) LOL... and we moved to Utah and I started buying up here.....and here we are today.. Also have written a book and copies are available, would make a great Christmas gift.
