    This relay is a Double Pole, Single Throw (DPST) configuration. Output current 30A max. at 240Vac, coil operates from 12Vdc.

    This relay is used as the control relay in mechanical relay designs and is used as the safety relay in our Quiet Drive Solid State designs.
    This relay fits the Digital Kilns that run on 220V/240 volts. This is the relay for the 18" and up kilns. There are usually 2 or more of these relays in the larger kilns. These relays cycle and off during the firing. Relays have a life in the 300,000 click range. If one bank of coils does not heat or stays on, then a new relay is needed. If a relay fails on, switch the kiln off at the breaker and unplug the kiln. Do not run the kiln again until the relay has been changed. It takes all the relays working together for the kiln to work properly.
    ADDITIONAL TECH DATA
    Vintage models equipped with Touchmatic (TM) and Perfect Fire controls use a different relay design. This relay will not directly fit into these models. Please contact Evenheat for assistance on these models.
