    Item 11462:  Handmade Ilonka pair of folk dolls '91 and '92.  Cat and Rooster.  Signed.  Hand made and stitched.  Skirts are removeable along with scarfs.  23" long.  Can sit as knees are jointed.
    Authentic and unique hand crafted folk art dolls by artist Ilona Martin . Her dolls were featured in national magazines, including Country Living and Better Homes & Gardens and also were exhibited in the Museum of American Folk Art and the Craft in New York and Folk Art Museum in Los Angeles.
    These beautiful dolls have papier-mâché heads which were painted, formed, baked, sealed and glazed. All Ilonka dolls have unproportional elongated stuffed bodies made of different patterns cotton fabric, kerchief, signature wooden heart.
