art 54002 was born in the JA Maffei workshops in Munich.
The first example was delivered on July 16, 1908. The axles are available "Pacific" with large diameter wheels.
Until then it was the largest machine ever built by this manufacturer, and continues to be considered "The most beautiful locomotive of the German railways".
The S 3/6 had an excellent performance over long distances, in 1951 it pulled a train of 150 tons. for 820 km from Hamburg to Munich stopping only to load water.
The definition S stands for “Schnellzuglocomotiven” long distance train and 3/6 for the relation of the driving axles to the total of the axles.
In conclusion it is a
train model
with all the details of the original model with which to spend hours relaxing
moreover, the assembly box is presented with attention to every detail with multilingual instructions.
