Description

On-board glow plug driver for nitro powered engines, installed on airplane, helicopter or car models. You can use small and light 500-800 mAh 2S1P LiPo's or LiFe's for multiple engine
starts
and
flights
(approximately 10 flights with one 800 mAh 2S LiPo pack, depending on settings).

Features
:
with glow plug driver properly configured (especially in automatic mode), engine works much more stable in idle mode all the time during flight and on the ground, even with very
rich settings of
idle needle. It makes configuring of idle needle much easier even on cheap engines. On the other hand, you can finely tune the engine, and reach very low yet stable idle RPMs with glow driver on 4-cycle engine, if needed;
works with following types of power batteries: NiCd/NiMh (1-, 2-cell), LiPo (2-, 3-cell), LiFe (2-, 3-cell);
auto detection of
power battery type

two modes of operation:
automatic, in four ranges of throttle stick (throttle cut-off, idle, middle RPM's, high RPM's). Glow Driver is connected
in parallel
with throttle servo via Y-Harness;
controlled by Transmitter (Tx) switch. Glow Driver is connected to individual Receiver (Rx) channel;
glow level is sustained during lowering of LiPo battery voltage;
two-step indication of lowering voltage for LiPo batteries, full discharge indication for all supported batteries. Power battery cut-off on discharge (optional), saving LiPo battery from being over-discharged;
settings are stored in nonvolatile memory;
automatic reverse recognition

indication of glow plug chain disconnection;
glow level is adjustable for all types of batteries, except for single-cell NiCd/NiMh;
glow plug may be heated when throttle changes from middle or idle range to high range (option may be disabled, or set to 50- or 100-percent heating for 2 seconds);

configurable via audio/LED menu;
operating voltage 4.8-13 V;
manual glow on button press.
