vintage PEGGIE KILGORE CORN HUSK DOLL FIGURINE, HEIDI & GOAT

Description

This is a wonderful piece of art made by Peggie Kilgore and her husband Claude.  Heidi is climbing with her goat.
The cornhusk dolls are made by Peggie, and the bases are made by her husband.  This driftwood base measures 8" x 7", and the height of the piece including base is 7 1/2".
Condition is excellent.
Unlike most corn husk dolls, Peggie's dolls are lifelike with physically correct bodies and limbs and beautifully painted faces that reflect their personalities.  Heidi obviously is happy as she wanders with her goat.  It is signed PK '80 on the side of the base and has her sticker on the bottom.  I have more Kilgore pieces offered this week
